What I love about Austin is that on any given night I can find good live music going on some where close by. This was a big relief when I moved back a year and a half ago. We were living 45 minutes south of San Francisco in a little town called San Mateo that had over two hundred diverse restaurants and no live music to speak of. I had been so spoiled living in Austin and I didn’t even know it. Now that I am back home for good, I am very aware of and most certainly not taking for granted the live music scene . I created this guitar painting in honor of the music that makes Austin so special to me.
This guitar painting is modeled off of Trigger, the Martin N-20 nylon-string classical acoustic guitar used by Willie Nelson Austin’s local hero and champion guitar slinger.
